ila Bank declared Sayed Sadeq Alqallaf as the Al Kanz winner of US$50,000 for August 2023. The digital mobile-only bank, powered by Bank ABC, conducted the automated draw in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Bank ABC, ila Bank and Ernst & Young to identify the winner.

41-year old Sayed Sadeq uses all the products and features on the ila Bank app, and is thrilled to have won this cash prize. “I would like to thank the employees of the Bank for providing exceptional services to its customers. I have maintained my savings for a long time in Al Kanz and I thank God I didn’t withdraw them!” he says.

The lucky win has come at an ideal time for Sayed Sadeq, as he is in process of building a new home for his family. He says, “The prize will definitely help me at this time.
