Shaikh Al Mahmood is a Member of the Shari’a Supervisory Board of Takaful International and ABC Islamic Bank, Kingdom of Bahrain; ABC Islamic Bank, London; and the Joint Shari’a Supervisory Board of AlBaraka Group. He has been a Preacher at a number of Bahrain’s mosques since 1973; and a lecturer in Quran interpretation, jurisprudence and preaching. Shaikh Al Mahmood is a regular participant in jurisprudence, educational, economic, intellectual, social and cultural conferences and seminars. He holds a PhD from the Shariah Al-Zaytuna College, Tunisia.
Shaikh Dr. Nedham M. Yaqubi
Dr. Nedham M. Yaquby studied traditional Islamic studies under the guidance of eminent Islamic scholars from different parts of the world. He has a BA in economics & comparative religions and M.SC. in finance from McGill University– Canada. He holds a Ph. D. in Islamic law from University of Wales. He has served in Bahrain Mosques from 1981 to 1990 where he taught Tafsir, Hadith and Fiqh in Bahrain since 1976. In addition to advising Citi and other Islamic finance institutions and funds, Sheikh Nizam Yaquby is a member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy and Auditing and Accounting Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions. He has published several articles and books on various Islamic subjects including banking and finance

Shaikh Dr. Mohamed Ali Elgari
Dr. Shaikh Mohamed Ali Elgari holds a Ph. D. in economics from the University of California. He was a former professor of Islamic Economics at King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and former Director of the Center for Research in Islamic Economics, in the same university. He is an Expert at the Islamic Jurisprudence Academy of the OIC and the Islamic Jurisprudence Academy of the Islamic World League and a Member of Shariah Supervisory Board. He is member of editorial board of several academic publications in the field of Islamic Finance and Jurisprudence among them, Journal of the Jurisprudence Academy (of the IWL), Journal of Islamic Economic Studies (IDB), Journal of Islamic Economic (IAIE, London), and the advisory board of Harvard Series in Islamic Law, Harvard Law School.
