ila Bank, the fast-growing digital mobile-only bank powered by Bank ABC, announces Ibrahim Jaber as the winner of its September ‘Al Kanz’ cash prize of US$50,000. The winner was notified verbally following an automated draw held under the supervision of representatives from the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Bank ABC, ila Bank and Ernst & Young.

When 28-year-old Ibrahim opened his ila Bank account in June 2022, he had not imagined the rewards he would soon be reaping from it. At the celebratory ceremony, he shared, “I still feel like I am in a dream and had to read my name several times on social media to believe I have won. I am extremely happy with this prize.”

Ibrahim plans to keep his cash award in his Al Kanz account for the chance to win the grand year-end prize of US$1 million dollars and will later decide how he will use his winnings.
Commenting on his experience using Al Kanz, Ibrahim said, “I loved the simplicity and the flexibility of the account; I was able to fund my account and participate in the draw in less than a minute.”
He added, “I travel a lot and I can't imagine my life without ila now. It has allowed me to manage my finances and accounts on-the-go from anywhere, at any time. Also, I love the multicurrency accounts and the ability to link all my foreign currency accounts to my card.”
