Manama, Bahrain: ila Bank, Bahrain’s leading digital mobile-only bank, has declared Hawra Abdulnabi AlJad as the winner of its Al Kanz November cash prize of US$50,000.The winner was identified following the draw held in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Bank ABC, ila Bank and Ernst & Young on 18th January 2024.

The 38-year-old winner had opened the ila account specifically to save some extra money in an Al Kanz account and was thrilled to win this significant cash prize soon after. “I was unable to digest the news at first and was in complete denial. It only hit me that I had won after seeing my name announced on ila’s Instagram account,” Hawra commented.

When asked what she intends to do with her prize, she said: “I will definitely continue saving in Al Kanz for chances to win one of the exciting upcoming monthly prizes.”

This year, Al Kanz users stand to win bigger and more cash prizes, totaling US$2,670,00 million. The last day to deposit for a chance to win of the five January cash prizes, including a lifechanging US$120,000 cash prize (paid as a monthly salary of US$10,000) or a one-off US$10,000 cash prize, is the 31st of January 2024.
