Manama, Bahrain: ila Bank, the fastest growing digital mobile-only bank in Bahrain, announces the first winner of its US$50,000 cash prize from Al Kanz. The winner Manal Ahmed Al Sarraf was notified following an automated draw conducted under the supervision of executives from the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Bank ABC, ila Bank and Ernst & Young.

During the prize-handover ceremony held at ila Bank’s office on 12 May 2022, Manal said: “The news of winning this prize made my year! I have been an ila customer since the very beginning; I even put my name on the waiting list before its launch. The prize-linked Al Kanz account nudges customers to save for chances to win cash prizes totaling US$1.5 million. It comes in response to ila customers’ ask for bigger cash prizes through effortless digital banking experiences.
